The The Research Urban Coast Environment Landscape Design of 0eean Culture’s Performanee Abstract Through the analyze of urban coast environment landscape development and summary of successful reconstruction experience overseas，this paper try to discuss and solve these problems such as the land use of urban coastal area，open space， landscape design，ecology protection，historical context extension，and so on from the angle that how to perform the ocean culture in urban coast environment landscape design． The first chapter introduced the development background of urban coastal area and some problems faced now，then it put forward the research goal and the research frame of this paper． The second chapter first discussed the connotation and the characteristic of ocean culture，and then analyzed the common character and distinguish between urban coast environment landscape and the riverside，lakeside landscape． The third chapter divided the basic application essential factors in urban coast environment landscape design to two aspects as spiritual and material，in which spiritual aspect included the spirte essential factors and the culture elements，the material aspect included the physical features and the artificial environment essential factors． The fourth chapter pointed out that the soul of coastal city dependent on the inheritance and the characteristic mould about the city ocean culture．On the author’s point of view，there are many ways to mould the culture character，mainly include excavating individuality from geographical feature in natural environment， molding individuality in humanity environment，molding individuality in humanity environment． The fifth chapter mainly studied the landscape space organization and planning about the urban coast environment landscape of ocean culture’s performance．In this part author pointed out the main question which must be considered to the function localization of landscape planning in coast environment and then proposed the localiza
