* 这个病例表达PCT可以有效排除假阳性的患者。这个病人反复发热，气道分泌物有时也很多（24小时50-100ml)， 白细胞也反复高于正常，胸片一直提示左侧胸水。但PCT一直不高。这个病人在入院后的这段时间一直没有使用抗生素，患者意识状况逐渐恢复，顺利停止使用呼吸机。 * * * * * 狀動脈繞道手術為開心手術最大宗，但在心臟內科介入性治療的積極發展下，心臟外科將面臨病人狀況更差、病人更挑的嚴峻挑戰。 　　傳統冠狀動脈繞道手術需要胸骨切開術（Sternotomy）及使用體外循環(Cardiopulmonary Bypass ）、主動脈橫夾及心臟停止（ Aortic crossclamp Cardioplegia ）。這樣的方式使病人恢復慢且增加手術危險性，所以我們應該改以新的微創手術來進行冠狀動脈繞道手術。 * * * * * Comment We must never over sell the benefits of PCT.
