Ab Abstract Abstract Some basic concepts and theories of DW (data warehouse), ETL (data extraction, conversion, loading), O LAP (online analytical processing), DM (data mining) and the relationships among DW, OLAP and DM are introduced in this paper firstly. Then the data of Lian company is analyzed, after which requirement analysis, a dimensional model of data warehouse is designed using four-step dimensional modeling method, the index is designed in the background of Lian Community electronic services system(LESS). ETL, the data dump module is built in light of practical requirement of LESS, and the system’s goal, architecture, data structure, process logic and interface is detailed designed. Based on SybaseIQ DW system, the Data Warehouse oriented community service is constructed eventually, which is the most significant research work. In this paper, then the data mart and multidimensional cube are constructed using OLAP tool based on relative themes, and associations analysis is constructed using DM tool. O ur system explores the conditions and causes of Lian performance to help the decision- makers formulate optimal strategies in which way the business is expanded and improved. The practicality and effectiveness of the DW system designed in this paper is demonstrated properly with abundant graphic charts in the realization part. The research achievements are summarized and the future work is still in progress as shown in the last chapter.
