Guess the riddles about the pets. Enjoy some pictures of different animals and simply talk about their behaviour. Step three: Deal with the first poem on page 94 1. Let the students talk about the dog’s behaviour 2. Read the first poem and find more behaviour of the dog. 3. Do some exercises and retell the dog’s behaviour according to the key words. 4. Listen to the poem and try to find the poem rhyme. ‘All’ rhymes with _____________ ‘Hide’ rhymes with _____________ ‘Sticks’ rhymes with_____________ ‘Bite’ rhymes with _____________ ‘Friend’ rhymes with_____________ Step four: Deal with the second poem on page 94 1. Read through the second poem and talk about the behaviour of goldfish. 2. Listen to the poem and try to find the poem rhyme. Step five:Review Finish the passage about the dog and the goldfish. Finish the passage with the new words on page 96.
