Unit 11 What time do you go to school? (Section B) 教学设计 一、教材分析 本单元通过“谈论日常时间安排”这一功能项目继续学习一般现在时态的用法。它是Unit 6 和 Unit 9的延续与拓展,又是Unit 12 的基础和准备。本单元Section B 第2课时围绕学生一天的作息活动,巧妙地介绍了实意动词一般在现在时在语境中的灵活运用。课文把语法教学融入平常的交际活动中,让学生通过参与课堂活动来学习、归纳以及巩固一般现在时这一语法功能,使语法项目与交际情景自然结合。本课不但要训练学生对“一般现在时态”的理解与掌握,而且涉及了语言运用项目——时刻的表达法。通过本课的学习,学生能够互相询问各自的作息时间并做出简单的报告。 二、教学目标 1.Language Goal 1.Grasp and use words and phrases: get up, run, eat, breakfast, lunch, dinner,go to school, work, bed, o’clock, shower, morning, afternoon, evening, homework, get to ...) 2.can use the target language:(1)He gets up at .... / I go to school at …. (2)Do you ...? / Does he ...? (3)What time do you ...? What time does he / she ...? 3.Can use the general tense to describe a day’s activities.Form good living habits. 三、教具准备 1.Tapes and tape-recorder 2. CAI 三、教学活动过程 Step 1 Warming up Good morning, class. Look at the pictures. Let’s play a guessing game. Please look at the picture, this is Bob, guess what time does he get up? Students guess the time. (show pictures on Screen,go on with other pictures) Focus on the expressing of the time. 设计意图:通过热身活动组织教学,把学生的注意力和兴趣吸引到英语教学活动中。另外,通过师生的问答,把话题引入到一般现在时的教学(老师先示范,学生后操练,学生逐渐学会如何询问与应答时间话题)。 Step 2 Discussion( Pre-reading) Does Bob have a healthy life? Why do you think so?(Because he gets up early and goes to bed early. ……Let students try to say out) Show more activities: what do you think is healthy? Say like this: I think getting up early is healthy. I think eating vegetables is healthy. Show more pictures: eat lots of fruit , brush teeth twice a day, take a shower, eat a good breakfast,etc. Teach the words and phrases. Show pictures of Tony and Mary, guess who is healthier? Why do you think so?(answer according to the picture) Step Three Fast reading Read the passage quickly,please find out the healthy activities. Circle them out. Circle: get up early; play basketball for half an hour; do my homework first;take a shower; eat a good breakfast; eat lots of fruit and vegetable
