To look at the wide-screen, guess the names and speak them out. Step 5 Pre-reading: 1. To show four pictures about the listening practice. (Mention them to pay attention to the listening skills.) 2. To look at their books and listen carefully , pay attention to the people’s names and their actions 3. Match the pictures with the names that they hear on the tape Step 6 listen, read and judge 1. To show the exercises and let the students listen to the listening scrips. ( To instruct the students how to catch the key words.) Lesson2 What’s your favorite subject? 学情分析 高一学生有了一定的词汇量，大多数学生习惯于逐词、逐句地分析课文，力求弄懂文章中每句话和每个语法点的含义。但是当他们遇到大量的、篇幅较长的文章时，那种逢词必查，逐字逐句分析的阅读方法就显得费时、费力、且效果极差。我的教学对象为高一学生，认知能力有了进一步的发展，渐渐形成了用英语获取信息、处理信息、分析问题和解决问题的能力。对美国学生的学校生活情况学生已通过影视、书报等媒体有了初步了解，文章主旨大意易于理解，
