(2) To introduce the places and things in China in English. 3.Emotional objects: (1) To cultivate the Ss’ abilities to speak English. (2) To enable the Ss to take a great interest in learning English. (3) To strengthen the love for our motherland--China. 教学重难点 1.Master the new words and the pattern drills. 2. Train the students speaking abilities. 3. Try to introduce the places and things of China in English freely. 教学方法 1.Multi-media teaching 2.Task-based language teaching. 教学设计思路 1.Use multi-media to help teaching to make the class colourful and interesting. And students can focus on the important ones. They will master them very well and use them correctly and freely. 2.Show the students the things and places of interest of China and help them know more about China. They will love China more. 教学过程 Step1: Greeting Greet by using sentences with strong sense of rhythm to arouse their interest in this class, such as “Hello, everybody!” “Do you like me ?” “China , lovely?” “Are you ready?” to know each other. So they will feel relaxed in learning. Step 2: Pre-learning Ask “What do you know about China?” and play a short movie. Ask the students to watch the movie carefully to know about China. Step 3: Ask and answer (1) Know something about the location of China on a map of the world. (2)Practice in pairs: ---What’s the capital city of China? ---Beijing is the capital city of China.
