♦教学过程
1. Greeti ng to stude nts.
2. Divide the Ss into four groups to present the dialogue.Step 1. Greeting and Introduction
Begin by greeting the class with a smile and good morning!
T: Good afternoon, students.
S: Good afternoon, teacher.
Step 2. Listening text and choosing right.
T: Let s act.
A 组:Where is Bill going?
B 组:When is he going there?
C 组:What s the weather like there?
D 组:What should Bill take with him?
T: Let s listen and repeat.
Step 3.Read text and tell the main idea of the text in the students own words.
Let the stude nts speak in front of the class. En courage them not to be shy whe n they sta nd there.
Give the stude nts cha nces to speak loudly in front of the class.
Step 4. Work in pairs.
A: Where is Bill goi ng?
B: He is going to Canada.
C: When is he going there?
D: He is going there on Friday.
Step 5. Encourage the students to ask more questions about this part.
Ask all of the stude nts to take part in the discussi on.
Step 6. Summary
1. Let the stude nts close their books. Ask the to say what they lear ned in this less on. Ask some
volun teers to write on the blackboard.
2. Do some exercises.
Step 7. Homework
1. Finish off the exercises in the textbook.
2. Go on the next reading in the student book.
