一.教学
Students will beable tosay the /g/ sound when they see theletter g.
Students will beable torecognize the letter g and write theletter g properly (in lowercaseand uppercase).

Students will be able to blend and understand the meaning of words in the context.

Step 1 Review
The sounds /s/,/a/, /t/, /i/, /p/, /n/, /c/, /k/, /e/, /h/, /r/, /m/, /d/ and their corresponding letters.

复习旧知,练习拼读技能,为新 知的学习做准备。
Step2 Story
Introduce the sound /g/ using a story. (Teacher may speak Chinese when necessary)
A girl, Gail, lives with her grandmother, who has a big garden and keeps some animals. There is a goat, a frog under the gate and some geese. Gail wants to wash her hands, and she puts the plug in the sink and fills the basin. But when she pulls the plug out, the water doesnt go away. Grandmother calls a plumber to unblock the sink. When the sink is unblocked, the water goes down the drain, making a /g/, /g/, /g/ sound.
Ask Ss to look at the letter g and ask them what sound does the letter g make?
Invite Ss to spiral their hands down, as if water is gurgling down a drain, and say, “/g/, /g/, /g/, /g/.”
设计意图:
学生通过故事,知道今天要学 习的音是/g/,看到字母g要发出 /g/的音。

Explain how the letter g is written. It starts with a caterpillar c and has a tail that goes down under the line.
