DOI: 10.12677/ap.2023.133106 杨天琴 Abstract The widespread absence of mental health education in rural areas is negatively nourished by the external environment such as economic development, scientific and technological progress, family and school education, and threatened by the continuous depletion of internal psychological re- sources, and the problems of left-behind teenagers and children emerge one after another. Through case analysis, this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the external and internal reasons for the damage to the mental health of Xiao S, the protagonist of the case, in the process of growing up, re- veals the psychological dilemma faced by left-behind children at present, and puts forward positive countermeasures
