五年级英语下册英语教学设计-Unit 4《What’s wrong with you》人教精通版 一、教学目标 了解并能运用英语表达身体不适症状; 通过真实情境学习,拓展学生的英语交流能力; 提高学生的听、说、读、写的综合能力; 培养学生对健康生活的重视和热爱。 二、教学内容 本课程教学内容为人教精通版五年级英语下册Unit 4《What’s wrong with you》。 生词短语 headache:头疼; stomachache:胃疼; toothache:牙疼; cold:感冒; fever:发烧; cough:咳嗽; sore throat:喉咙疼痛; earache:耳朵疼痛; backache:背疼。 重点句型 What’s wrong with you?:你怎么了? I have a headache.:我头疼。 I have a stomachache.:我胃疼。 I have a toothache.:我牙疼。 I have a cold.:我感冒了。 I have a fever.:我发烧了。 I have a cough.:我咳嗽了。 I have a sore throat.:我喉咙疼痛。 I have an earache.:我的耳朵疼痛。 I have a backache.:我背疼。 三、教学过程 Step 1: Warm-up Activity Teacher greets the students by asking how they are feeling today. Students respond with “I’m fine, thank you. And you?” Teacher introduces the new topic by saying “Today we are going to learn about different parts of our body and how we use them. We will learn some new words and sentences to talk about how we feel when we are sick. Are you ready?” Step 2: Presentation Teacher introduces the new vocabulary words and phrases listed above. The teacher writes these words and phrases on the board. Teacher points to the different parts of the body and asks students to say the correct words for each part of the body. Teacher models the correct pronunciation. Teacher asks students to repeat the words after her. Teacher explains the meanings of these words and phrases and checks students’ understanding by using the following questions: “What does ‘headache’ mean?” “What does ‘stomachache’ mean?” “What does ‘toothache’ mean?” “What does ‘cold’ mean?” “What does ‘fever’ mean?” “What does ‘cough’ mean?” “What does ‘sore throat’ mean?” “What does ‘earache’ mean?” “What does ‘backache’ mean?” Step 3: Practice Teacher asks students to role-play a conversation between a doctor and a patient. The doctor asks “What’s wrong with you?” and the patient responds with one of the answers provided above. Teacher encourages the students to use complete sentences.
