用法辨析：more，fewer和less的区别

(1)more是many和much的比较级，表示“更多”，它后面可以接可数名词复数或不可数名词。常与than构成句型more..than，用于比较物体的数量。

例:IhavemoreapplesthanTom.我的苹果比汤姆的多。

HehasmoremoneythanI．他的钱比我的多。

(2)fewer是few的比较级，less是little的比较级。few和little在句中都可用作形容词来修饰名词，表示不确定的数量。few用于修饰可数名词，后接可数名词复数，而little只能修饰不可数名词。

例：Ihavesomestorybooks.TomhasfewerstorybooksthanI.

我有一些故事书。汤姆的故事书比我的少。（book可数）

Thereislesswaterinthisglass．这个杯子里的水更少。（water不可数）
