Thisspecificationcoversburstdiskassembliesforpaintballmarkerpropellantsourcestheirapplicationandin-stallationrequirements.

Thematerialsandprocessesusedtomanufacturetheburstdiskassemblyshallresultinitemswithmechanicalstrengthsufficienttopasstheapplicableburstpressuretests.Materialsusedshallbecorrosionresistant,chemicallycompat-iblewiththepropellantusedandshallnotpromotegalvanicaction.RupturedisksshallbemanufacturedandtestedinaccordancewithDOT49CFR1734dandCGAS-1-1.

Theburstdiskassemblyandrelatedportfeaturesshallbefreeofburrsandsharpedges.

Performance

Burstdiskassembliesintendedforusewithaservicepressureof12410kPa(1800psi)shallruptureatnotlessthan
