Abstract Regional industry structure is the macro foundation of regional competitiveness, and the development of information industry potentially affects the evolution of regional industrial structure. Information industry and industrial information become the new development trend of regional industry structure. Explore how the promotion effect between information industry and the regional industrial structure evolution promote the economic continuously, healthily and stably developing, and the significance of it. Essentially, information industry is knowledge-intensive, technology-intensive industry, as the dominant core of industry innovation system and backbone of the third industry; it has far-reaching influence on pushing regional industrial structure upgrading. The development of information industry is basing on the leading industry theory-the diffusion effect, and has the space effect of regional industrial structure through the construction of regional innovation system. Based on the new triple helix theory, this article analyzes the relationship of the information industry and the three main factors of regional industrial structure evolution: the difference, rationalization, upgrading. First, this article analysis how information industry affects the difference, rationalization and upgrading of regional industrial structure, establishes the grey correlation model through OWA operator group of fusion method then do the empirical analysis.
