Under this condition, Jingdezhen branch of China Telecom is facing severe challenges that its revenues are shrinking gradually, which are mainly fetched from fixed-line telephone services. Jingdezhen branch has to find new growth points for sustainable development. This thesis is based on the China Telecom s footprint and current condition and expounds the key points during the service development in terms of theory, besides, we discuss the reasons which caused the business decline of Jingdezhen branch, the necessity and feasibility of service transformation in the aspects of macro environment, stage of information industry development, evolution rules of industrial chain, development trends in telecom market, development trends in telecom service and laws of telecom technology development.
