摘要 STUDY ON DEVELoPMENT oF HARBIN、S CoUNTY ECONOMIES Abstract County-level economies occupy a significant and special position in a national economy ofHarbin．Counties are conjuncts ofcentrallocal governmants and rural＆urban areas．They are also important links to implement the guidelines and policies of central，provincial and municipal governments to the grassroots level．For the city ofHarbin at present and in near future，it is an important and urgent strategic task to speed up the growth ofcounty economies and promote their overall economic strength．It is also necessary for HarbinIS elfore to develop rapidly for building a well-offsociety and its endeavors to acting as the leading role in the province。s development．The author analyzes and expounds on Harbin’s county economies’ development by using for reference the domestic experience of and approach to the study of county eco∞mies and combining his own work into the thesis． FirsL Introduction Learning from the domestic research results of the theories of county economies growth，the thesis explmns the county economies’basic concept and meaning, basic features，approach to study and theoretical support．Through the investigation，study and statistical analysis of 12 counties／cities under the jurisdiction of Harbin(Including Huhm coonty which was turned into a district in 2004),the thesis has a general evaluation ofpresent situmion and basic features of Harbins cnunty economies on a scientific and objective basis． The thesis has a profound discussion ofHarbin。s county economies’respective development features and types by conducting scientific approach to study and classification．It divided Harbins countie,s／cities into strongly radiant urban region。sub-central radiant region and inner land border region．The thesis also compares the three∞gions in terms of their county economies development level，regional resources，sources of economic growth，driving forces for growth，industrial mix features and overall competitiveness．Th
