Methods using high performance liquid chromatography, using C18 column, mobile phase was methanol -0.4% phosphoric acid (60:40), detection wavelength of 370 nm, flow rate of 0.6 ml / min. The results of quercetin and kaempferol, respectively 0.008 ~ 0.06 μ g and 0.006 88 ~ 0.0516 μ g showed good linear relationship within the framework of the average recoveries were 97.34% and 97.72%, RSD were 2.4% and 1.3% (n = 5) Conclusion This method is sensitive and accurate, reproducible, specific and can be used as emphysema capsule quality control. Keywords:: emphysema capsule; high-performance liquid chromatography; quercetin; kaempferol Determination of Quercetin and Kaempferol in Feiqizhong Capsules Abstract: ObjectiveTo establish a method to determine the content of quercetin and kaempferol in Feiqizhong Capsules.MethodsHPLC was used to determine the content of quercetin and kaempferol with detection wavelength at 370nm. The mobile phase consists of a mixture of methanol-0.4% H3PO4 (60 : 40). The flow rate was 0.6ml/min. ResultsThe linear regression for quercetin and kaempferol was obtained at the range of 0.008 ~ 0.006μ g and 0.006 88 ~ 0.051 6 μ g. The average recovery of quercetin and kaempferol were 97.34% and 97.72 %, RSD were 1.3% and 1.7% respectively (n = 5). ConclusionThe method is sensitive, accurate, reproducible and exclusive. It can be used for quality control of Feiqizhong Capsules.
