[Abstract] Objective To observe repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation, rTMS) on propofol induced memory impairment in mice. Methods The mice were divided into 3 groups: fat emulsion (10%) group (L group), propofol (20 ml / kg) group (P group), propofol (20 ml / kg) + transcranial magnetic stimulation group (T group) 10. administered 30 min before training, T group of mice received 10 min after administration of 300 stimuli (10 Hz, 1. 0 Tesla, 200 s). using passive avoidance test, training day and the mice 24 h after administration of the incubation period and the number of errors. Results training day, compared with the L group, P group and T group latency (P lt;0. 01), the number of errors increased (P lt;0. 01); drug after 24 h, compared with the P group, T group latency (P lt;0. 01), the number of errors decreased (P lt;0. 01). Conclusion Propofol rTMS can improve learning and memory impairment caused.

Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation, rTMS) is a new non-invasive tool for neuroscience research and may become the treatment of mental illness [1]. RTMS is the use of alternating current in alternating magnetic field , then the magnetic field generated by alternating current role in a specific area of the brain nerve cells, it depolarized and produce biological effects. high frequency rTMS can increase cortical excitability and brain function of complex activities. by animal cells and molecular level and on human neurophysiology, neuroimaging studies, confirmed the central function of focal rTMS and indirect effects [2]. Propofol is commonly used in clinical anesthesia, t
