Discourse Theory in EFL Teaching
Abstract: Text linguistic theory developed rapidly in recent years in the West and its results are widely used in EFL teaching practice at all levels to verify the language of the discourse strategy of capacity building in the key role. The domestic discourse theory is lagging behind the ideological discourse of teaching practice in EFL teaching is still at an initial stage, the discourse of knowledge and the lack of discourse strategies affect the overall effect of EFL teaching. Along with the promotion of curriculum reform, the traditional limitations of EFL teaching is increasingly clear that the original under the guidance of teaching theory, teaching practice has been not well adapted to develop learners language teaching objectives. Text Linguistics thinking of how to absorb a reasonable component to ease the new curriculum objectives and the conflict between traditional teaching methods, linguistics, theory and practice of Western discourse on domestic EFL teaching a larger referential significance.
