In today’s information society, reading is access to information and update knowledge of the basic approach, we must master effective reading method, in order to improve learning efficiency. However, in the current language teaching, there are still more serious, “re-explain, light reading” phenomenon. Moreover, in the language disciplines, long-term studies exist without reading the embarrassing situation, which is development of the times and requirements clearly do not match. In language teaching to enhance reading instruction, to teach students how to read to obtain information, to be refined, analysis and synthesis, to solve practical problems, has become a development imperative. We must be reading law, to improve learning efficiency.
In order to develop student ability to improve the quality of students, we must put great emphasis on the teaching activities of students in the dominant position of very great importance to students, self-learning and active participation. Therefore, we propose in the language teaching of reading should pay attention to the teaching of reading and thematic study of a combination of reading.
Teaching reading is directly related with the teaching of reading, including pre-prep classes to read in class while listening side of the classroom reading and after-school refresher reading. Teaching of reading is the main target material. But in the last exam-oriented education system, in order to cope with exams, students are often only pay attention to after-school refresher reading, the neglect of pre-prep class to read, eventually leading to school can only passively receive, passively “listen” is completely dependent on the teacher explanations indoctrination can not do active learning, active participation, resulting in “read” the book more than ten years, but still can not read.
