The principles of physical worker productivity
Taylors principles were surprisingly simple.
The first step in increasing the productivity of physical workers is to observe the work they are going to perform, and then analyze the continuous action step by step. Unnecessary steps are eliminated - whenever you analyze physical work, you can find many programs that are virtually unnecessary and are considered essential. Taylors approach doesnt sound like a big deal - its often the way it works. In fact, this method took Taylor 20 whole years to experiment and sort out it.
