This is the story of why I decided to step away from social media， and how it felt when I did. 　　I had a Facebook account for about 24 hours. I traipsed5） around Twitter for a couple of years. I had a brief flirtation6） with Instagram this summer. 　　While I have experimented and dabbled7） with various social media platforms over the years―from MySpace to Friendster to Pinterest and beyond―I rarely play with any platform for more than a year or so. 　　I currently do not use any social media networking platforms at all. These are all very beautiful things.
