摘要在当今社会，随着我国对外交流程度的不断提高以及互联网的普及，国外影视作品 越来越多的出现在国内观众面前。与此同时出现的是国内影视翻译字幕的异军突起。字 幕的出现不仅传播了文化，也让国内观众第一时间看到新鲜的影视作品。但是应当注意 到的是，影视翻译字幕作品质量参差不齐，在这一领域缺少专业培训和理论指导。本翻 译实践报告引用图里的翻译规范理论作为理论支撑，以美剧《新闻编辑室》为例，详述 了翻译规范理论指导下的影视字幕翻译过程，并指出了影视字幕翻译的未来出路。本实践报告共包括四部分。第一章中，笔者介绍了任务背景、文本内容、文本选择 的原因及文本性质与特点。在第二章中，笔者详述了翻译实践的任务过程。第三章为案 例分析，笔者详述了在翻译规范理论指导下的影视字幕翻译策略。最后一章为实践总结， 笔者通过该翻译实践，总结出了影视字幕翻译策略及译者所需的相关素质，并提出了翻 译实践的局限性以及对影视字幕翻译未来发展方向的建议。关键词：字幕翻译；翻译规范；新闻编辑室AbstractIn modern China’s society, owing to the progress in reformation and opening to the outside world and with the spread of Internet, domestic audience can enjoy more and more overseas films and television programs. Meanwhile, fansub groups are evolving quickly. Subtitles play an important role in cultural diffusion; they also provide domestic audiences fresh films and television programs at the first time. We should notice that the subtitles made by those fansub groups vary in quality. This translation field lacks professional training and theoretical direction. This translation project supported by Gideon Toury’s Translation of Norms describes the subtitle translation in the perspective of Norms in detail by translating The Newsroom. This translation report also points out the prospect of subtitle translation.This report includes four chapters. In Chapter One, the writer introduces the background of the task, choice of the text, and a brief introduction to the text. In Chapter Two, the writer describes the translation process briefly. The Chapter Three is case analysis; the writer in this chapter describes the subtitle translation in the perspective of Norms in detail by translating The Newsroom. The last chapter is the conclusion. Through the translation project, the writer sums up the strategies in subtitle translation and the relevant quality a translator should has.
