从语音和句法层面对《海之声》的文体分析 　　Abstract： The poem The Sound of the Sea written by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow skillfully describes the sound of the sea as the waves of the sea lap against the shore and the tide rises. The study mainly argues the inspiration of the sound from phonological and syntactic dimensions. The rhythm of the poem goes along with the imagery very well. It illuminates that the artful linguistic techniques help to present the myth and power in front of the readers and highlight the theme of the poem. 　　Key words： The Sound of the Sea； inspiration； phonological dimension； syntactic dimension 　　摘要：亨利?沃兹沃思?朗费罗的诗歌《海之声》描写了海浪拍打在海滩上以及涨潮时大海的声音。该研究从语音和句法层面探讨了诗歌的主题：大海对人们内心的启发。该诗的韵律与意象和谐统一。研究表明以上语言技巧的巧妙运用有助于展现诗歌的音韵美，并突出了诗歌的主题。 　　关键词：《海之声》 启发 语音 句法 　　The Sound of the Sea is a poem written by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow， describing artfully the sounds of the sea and relating it to human inspiration. The poet effectively alludes to the nature of human inspiration by presenting auditory images of the sea and other powerful natural forces. The poem suggests that life is unpredictable like the tides of the sea. People can be inspired by the different sounds of the sea. 　　Phonological and syntactic devices are ingeniously used and combined to highlight the theme of the poem： the sea awakes us. 　　Phonological technique is artfully employed to reveal the rhythm aesthetics of this poem. The poem is arranged in a very elaborate rhyme scheme. There are fourteen lines in this poem， and from the last word of each line， we can see the rhythms： sleep [i：p]， wide [aid]， tide [aid]， sweep [i：p]； deep [i：p]， multiplied [aid]， side [aid]， steep [i：p]； unknown [■un]， being [iη]， soul [■ul]； own [■un]， foreseeing [iη]， control [■ul]， so the poem follows a rhyme scheme of a-b-b-a； a-b-b-a； c-d-e； c-d-e. In addition， the phonological device assonance is employed in line 1， 4 and 5， and in line 2， 3， and 6. The two vowels [i：] and [ai] are repeated. The poem describes different sounds
