I I Abstract The source text of this translation practice is from Chinese Swordsmanship (Jianshu), which is edited by the Wushu Research Institute of the General Administration of Sport of China. The author chooses the first two chapters as the source text. In the process of translation, the author mainly uses the theory of Informative Text as guidance. The main purpose of the informative text is to tell the readers some information or knowledge. Therefore, taking the system of language acquisition of the target readers into consideration, the author adopts communicative translation as the main strategy in this translation practice.
