However, the scientific circle has not yet drawn a conclusion about its quality security, the uncertainty of its quality security has brought a dilemma of the legal regulation of the genetically modified foods. Meeting the need of people concerning about food security, labeling system serves as one of the most important means of food security supervision around the word. Aimed at the legal system for genetically modified food labeling and based on the introduction of the changes of the current labeling rules and regulations concerning genetically modified food, the paper introduces rules and regulations about genetically modified food labeling in current situation and draws the conclusion of the current labeling system. A comparative study of labeling system of the United States, the European Union, as well as China is conducted in this paper, which analyzes the main reasons why different countries adopt different labeling systems and demonstrates the necessity
