The current is consumption era, the social characteristics and modernity as well as the expansion of post-modernity, which make aesthetic functions, revealing different forms of expression. And the complexity and diverse features of modern aesthetic, spurring the aesthetic function theory research present diversity forms. So, how to grasp contemporary aesthetic function theory is an inevitable academic problem. The paper contains chapter Ⅰ, chapter Ⅱ, chapter Ⅲ and conclusion four parts. In chapter Ⅰ, the paper begin with two aspects of aesthetics function theory, which are western aesthetic function theory and Chinese aesthetics function theory, summarizing Chinese aesthetics function theory and western aesthetic function theory, inducing the basic development thread of aesthetic function theory. Chapter Ⅱ is the main body of the paper. In section Ⅰ of chapter Ⅱ, the paper bases on analyzing the feature of consumption era and combine it with the analysis of aesthetic function theory, concluding the diversified objective reality of contemporary
