Such elements as freedom, excellence , unity and innovation pursued in sports culture are cormota/tions which should be contained by college spirit, while value contradictions of sports culture form reflections in college spirit? In the long run, the development of sports culture should be completely blended into the connotations and presentation process of college spirit, there should be new orientation and communication for traditional cultural conceptions such as elite culture , and the establishment , implementation and steady extension of scientific development conceptions such as lifetime sports should be promoted. Key words : school physical education； sports culture； college spirit 体育文化是一种为大家所熟悉的社会文化现象，大学生 不仅是体育文化的受益者，也是创造者，因此大学校园文化 与体育文化存在诸多交集。少年强则中国强，具备阳光健康 的体育文化，才能张扬奋发图强的大学精神，进而提升一个 国家的文化软实力。从这种内在联系看，探讨体育文化的深 层次影响及其在大学精神建构中的作用，对于未来的文化发 展无疑具有重要意义。体育文化与大学精神联系紧密，在任 何时候体育文化都为大学精神提供源泉和支撑。 1体育文化在大学精神中的应有之义 体育文化在国家精神文明建设中占据重要地位，它是从 传统的计划经济社会向现代化的社会主义市场经济社会转 型的精神动力之一，也是新时期我国体育发展的精神动力 ⑴。 1）以强健之体魄求自由之精神。 无论是在比赛中超越自我，享受胜利的喜悦，还是在持 续锻炼中实现体质上的增强，都是人们突破界限对自由的获 取。在对“体育文化”的诸多界定中，“自由”是一个经常 出现的关键词。对自由的向往体现了体育与游戏的紧密联 系，如许多民族的传统体育活动就是游戏的延伸，游戏是自 由的象征，虽然存在规则，但不依赖规则，可以独立存在［2］。 基于战争、生存和劳作需要的训练不是体育的本质，仅是适 应外部环境的附属功能，只有基于身心发展的自由要求，体 育才不会异化或被外化。马克思［3］在谈及异化问题时说： “工人在他的产品中的外化，不仅意味着他的劳动成为对
