Students will understand the intention of the designer by doing exercises. 过程与方法：To achieve the goals by individual work, and group work. 情感态度与价值观:To be prepared for the entrance examination. 教学重点：To summarize the skills in cloze. 教学难点：To help the students understand the intention of the designer. 教学策略与方法：Communicative and task-based teaching 教学手段与教学用具：computer， blackboard 教学过程 教师活动及教学内容 学生活动 设计意图 Step 1: Lead-in 1. The importance of cloze in examinations. 2. Analyze the feature of Cloze. Step 2: Analyzing Skills in Cloze 1. Ask students to share their skills in Cloze. 2. Show some typical examples that students are familiar with, and analyze the features of them to summarize the skills. And emphasize how to practise the skills properly. 完形填空解题技巧： 1、同词 2、同义词 3、反义词 寻找 4、同类词 5、语义 6、出题者意图 Step 3: Do related exercise. Get students to do the exercise to practise the skills. Step 4: Consolidation Task 1. (Divide students into two groups) Show each group a passage and get them to design some blanks just like Cloze. Task 2. Exchange the two passages and get them to finish the Cloze. Designer explain the problems if necessary. Step 5: Summary Encourage students to look for information from the passage. Step 6:Homework Do Cloze to practise the skills. Share their own ideas. Do the exercises again and find out the skills. Do the exercise. Group work Design some blanks. Do the exercise. To make students attach importance to cloze. To prepare for the next Part. To summarize the skills. To grasp the skills. Help students understand the intention of the designer and do well in Cloze.
