Teaching procedures:
Step1. Leading in
Greet the student
Show a word ?wanghong’ to students. And ask “What’s wanghong?”. Then introduce a ‘wanghong’ dog, Jesse. Let students watch a video about the dog with the question ?What can the dog do?”
After the video, ask some students to answer the question.
(Write students’ answers on the blackboard. And summarize the word “chores”.) Then ask students, ?The dog can do so many chores, and what can you do?
(Students answer.)
Game time: I have six cards. I will ask one student choose one card, then act out. Let other students guess the expressions.
Step2. Presentation
Activity 1a. Do you do these chores at home? Discuss them with your partner using the sentence structures ?Do you sweep the floor at home?

(After two minutes, ask some groups to show their conversations.)
