Section B (1a—1d)教学设计
一、教学目标
1.通过简单复习与回顾,能够说出常见的音乐种类名称,说出自己喜欢某种音乐的原因。
2. 通过听力训练,能够捕捉到关于所介绍乐队的信息、人们喜欢该乐队的原因并做简单记录。
3. 通过朗读训练,能用正确的语音、语调流利朗读听力原文,并依据原文提出问题。
4. 通过归纳、总结、复述、小组合作等活动,能用描述感受(如:happy, excited, relaxed, crazy...)和音乐特点的形容词(如:loud, soft, wonderful, exciting, full of energy...)及I like... because it/he/she is .../it makes me.../I feel...等句式来描述自己喜爱的音乐、歌手或乐队,体会享受音乐的乐趣。
二、教学重点
通过听力训练,能够捕捉到关于所介绍乐队的信息、人们喜欢该乐队的原因并做简单记录,从而提高听的能力。
应用本课时新学习的内容,结合之前学习过的跟音乐有关的词语、句式等,表达自己真实的感受。
三、教学难点
运用自己所学,表达自己真实的感受。
四、教学过程
I. Warming up
Watch a video from the band Westlife. It’s the song You Raise Me Up.
II. Leading in
Show a job links. Tell the students if they work hard this class, they can try to be a reporter for the school radio station.
Show the learning objectives.
III. Pre-listening
Revise the names of different music styles. Get students to name them and then read them together.
Have a free talk. Talk about the music the teacher and the students like. Give the reason.
Play a guessing game. Listen to music and guess the names of singers or bands.
IV. While-listening
Listen for the topic of the conversation. (The topic is facts about a band.)
Listen for the facts about the band. Ask four questions for students to answer. Then write down the keys points in the chart.
Questions
(1). Whats the name of the band?
(2). Which country are they from?
(3). How many people are there in the band?
(4). What kind of music do they play?

Listen for more details. Listen for the reasons Alex and Dave like the band. The students just need to complete the sentences.
(1). Alex likes their music because its _____ and full of________. He feels _______ when he listens to it.
(2). Dave likes their music because he thinks if he listens to their music every morning, it will wake him up and make him ______ for the rest of day.
V. Post-listening
