Step 1 Warm-up Lead-in
Enjoy some photos of farms and farm activities — to make Ss interested in farms.
【设计意图】本课的开始,通过请学生欣赏和农场相关的图片,激发学生的学习兴趣,调动交流的积极性。从图片中不难发现,我们的生活和农场息息相关,我们可以在农场骑马、与动物玩耍,从农场上获得新鲜的肉类,乳品和蔬果,这些都离不开农民们的辛勤工作。从而进入今天的主题 help Tom on the farm。
Step 2 Feed the animals -to get some eggs

【设计意图】在这一环节中,我通过问答的形式,引导学生关注动物所在位置的远近,复习本单元的特殊疑问句What are these/those? 及其回答They’re …(s). 和一般疑问句Are these/those…? 及其回答Yes, they are./ No,they aren’t.在猜测动物时,不仅可以从外形,我还引导学生从它们的食物这一角度进行思考,顺势拓展相应的食物类和动物类名词。并用chant 的形式进行巩固,再让学生进行创编,进行综合运用。
