九年级英语 Unit8 We’re trying to save the earth.教学设计 教学目标 1 让学生运用Predicting,skimming,scanning等方式迅速找到文中的信息。 2 训练学生retell 口语表达I can make...by using...以及书面表达we should do something to protect the earth.的能力。 3 提高学生旧物回收利用的意识以及从小事做起保护环境的意识。 教学重点难点:1抓细节信息的能力。 2学生书面表达倡议大家从小事做起保护环境。 教具:多媒体,两个旧物回收的作品(矿泉水瓶做的种蒜的小花瓶,剃须刀的包装做的小水桶) 教学方法:引导学生自主学习和合作学习相结合。 教学过程 Step 1 Lead-in Watch a short video Man in Nature, and pay attention to “What did the man do?” T: What did the man do? S1”He killed the small animal.” S2”He polluted the sea.” S3”He threw rubbish in to the sea.” S4 “He cut down the trees”etc. ... T: The man did so many harmful things to the earth. He continued doing these things, and the earth was badly ill.What can we do? Some say big things must be done. But they forget small things can also help. For example, we have many things that we don’t use anymore. How do you usually deal with them, like a bottle? S1: I throw it. S2: I sell it. ... T : We can also reuse it. For example, we can use it. Some other people are taking action. Let’s see their stories. Open your books, and turn to page 62. (设计意图:本单元的主题是保护地球,所以导入部分我设计了视频Man in Nature. 视频的主要内容是人类做了一些破坏地球的事情,比如:杀害小动物,把垃圾倒入大海,而且大量砍伐树木等,引导学生思考,这样的后果是地球生病了,那我们应该做什么?生活当中的小事情也可以有帮助。比如:废旧物品除了扔掉,卖掉,还可以回收利用。 ) Step2 Before reading Look at the pictures in 2b.
