Step 1 Warming-up
Look at a dialogue about there be sentence pattern.
设计意图:通过动画制作的人物进行对话引入本课的重点there be句型,激发学生的学习积极性,提高学生的课堂参与度。
Step 2 Lead-in
Ask the students to find out the sentence patterns there be in the dialogue.
设计意图:通过让学生找出对话中出现的there be句型让学生对今天授课的内容there be句型有初步的了解和认识。
Step 3 Presentation
Introduce the basic structure of the sentence structure there be.

Introduce its general interrogative form.
Introduce its negative form.
