一、Teaching aims 
1. Language goals 
   1) To master those words: housework, hardly, ever, hardly ever, once, twice, 
Internet, program, full, swing, swing dance, maybe, least, at least 
To master the following sentences: 
   ① —What does he do on weekends?             —He usually watches TV. 
   ② —How often do you watch TV?          —I watch TV every day. 
   ③ —Does he go shopping?                     —No, he never go shopping. 
2) To understand the following grammars: 
   Adverbs of frequency ,present simple tense and talk about weekend activities. 
2. The emotion goal: 
    To help students form a healthy eatin habit, guarantee enough sleep and exercise 
reasonably to keep in good health. And to help students improve his/her expression 
ability, understand each other and enhance friendship to form an excellent relation. 
二、Teaching difficulties 
1. Key points: 
     1) Be able to understand the minor differences of the six adverbs of frequency. 
    2) To clarify how the verb agrees with its subject in number and person. 
2. Difficulties: 
  1) How the verb agrees with its subject in number and person. 
  2) Talk about weekend activities. 
三.Teaching pr ocedures: 
 Ⅰ. Lead in 
Talk about your last weekend’s activities. 
Ⅱ. Presentation 
(1) T:“What do you usually do on weekends ? ”S:”I usually …… on weekends.” 
(2)To show the cards: watch TV,read books,exercise,swimplay football、go shoppin 、 
go to movies  and let Ss answers

 (3)To show the adverbs of frequency in the following way. 
always (100%)      usually(80%)       often (30-50%) 
sometimes (20%)    hardly ever(5%)     never (0%)

1. Look at the picture. Discuss with your partners. Make a list of the weekend 
activities. 
2. Let some Ss read out their activities. Let other Ss add more activities.
