六年级下册英语教案-Lesson18 Three Kites in the Sky 冀教版 一、教学目标 能够听、说、读、写、译本课单词和短语:kite,three,in the sky,high,fly a kite; 能够听懂并会运用本课时句型:What are you doing? I am flying a kite. How high is it? It is very high. 培养学生在团体合作中互相协作的能力,提高学生的英语语感及英语的综合运用能力; 培养学生的想象力和创造力。 二、教学重点 本课的几个单词和短语的准确掌握; 团队合作的能力。 三、教学难点 学生运用英语进行交流; 学生在团队合作中互相协作的能力。 四、教学过程 1. Warm-up Greetings. T: Hello, boys and girls. Ss: Hello, teacher. Free talk. T: How is the weather today? Ss: It’s sunny/cloudy/windy… 2. Presentation Play the tape for the students to listen and follow. Teach the new words and phrases using pictures and gestures. Kite: Show a picture of kite and ask “What’s this?” Three: Show three fingers and ask “How many fingers do I have?” In the sky: Look up and ask “What can you see?” High: Hold up a hand and ask “How high is it?” Fly a kite: Show a picture of a boy/girl flying a kite and ask “What is he/she doing?” Play the tape again and let the students repeat after the tape. 3. Practice Listen and repeat. T: Let’s listen to the tape and repeat after it. Make a dialogue. T: Now, let’s make a dialogue. Two students will work together and make a dialogue. S1: What are you doing? S2: I am flying a kite. S1: How high is it? S2: It is very high. Practice in groups. T: OK, now I want you to work in groups. You will make three kites and you will fly them. One student will be the controller, two students will hold the kite and fly the kite. The others will be the audience. And then you will change the roles and do it again. 4. Production Show and tell. T: It’s time for you to show and tell. Each group will show your kite and tell us something about your kite. Vote for the best kite. T: After each group has shown and told, we will vote for the best kite. The group with the best kite will get a prize. 5. Summary and Homework Summary. T: Today we learned some new words and phrases about kite. We also learned how to make a dialogue and how to work in groups. Homework. T: Your homework is to write a short composi
