Abstract The PingXiang Iron Steel Co., Ltd is a company with nearly 50 years of history, large steel manufacturers. In recent years, PXSTEEL in the development of new products, domestic and international marketing and in a lot of effort, but proceeds are not obvious. Annual production of raw material costs of the total cost of the company above 80%, but long-term procurement activities are not given adequate attention and treatment. Procurement management is inefficient and low income one of the causes. In order to achieve production or sales plans and to ensure that appropriate quality conditions, from the appropriate vendor, at the appropriate time in an appropriate price, procurement management is defined as purchasing the necessary amount of material taken by all management activities. Material procurement is starting point of all business activities of enterprises.In this aspect of their overall operating efficiency improvement activities is very important, in a certain sense is the source of business costs, quality and efficiency of the source of the source of the future will also become the source of innovation. In this paper, based on PXSTEEL’s actual situation and imputing the new concept of ‘Institutionalization+ Processure ’, it is suggested to apply BPR and to establish information management system to PXSTEEL.
