摘 要 中职生的学业影响到中等职业教育的质量,更影响到每个学生的未来职业发展。 中职生是一个差异很大的群体,其英语学业不良问题极其突出,成因和对策也更加 复杂。 本文通过调查问卷、访谈等多种方式,综合教学中的观察,通过以杨浦职校某 班学生为个案分析,总结中职生英语学业不良的成因,从学生自身、家庭等多方面 的深入研究剖析相关因素。学生自身因素包含基础因素、智力因素和非智力因素等; 家庭因素包含家长自身文化层次、对孩子的关注程度和学生学习环境因素等。 本文认为,要改变中职生英语学业不良的现象,需要从多种角度下手,建立和 谐的师生关系,激发学生的学习动机,激励学生的学习意志,培养学生良好的学习 习惯,加强家校的沟通合作。在教学实践中,笔者通过对个案研究班级英语教学策 略的调整和个案学生的个性化调整,在教学中加以实施,取得了良好的效果,这些 学生英语学业不良现象得到明显改善。 关键词:中职生,英语学业不良,调查分析,对策实践 I ABSTRACT The learning performance of students of middle vocational schools not only has an impact on the quality of middle vocational school education, but also the development of every student’s future career. Students of middle vocational school are a group with great differences. The problem of their learning disability is very complicated, so are the causes and solution strategies. With the methods of surveying, interviewing and observing, this paper analyzes the causes resulting in the English underachievers with a case study on two classes of Yangpu Vocational Technical School looking into the factors of the students themselves and their families. The factors of students themselves include the students’ previous knowledge of English, the intellectual factors and non-intellectual factors. The factors of their family include the parents’ cultural levels, the extent of concern about their children, and the home environment for studying. This paper asserts that harmonious relationship between teachers and students should be built up and communicative cooperation between the family and the school should be strengthened in various ways in order to enhance the students’ English learning ability.
