Vol No PET ROL EU M DRIL LING T EC H NIQ U ES M ar doi syztj s mm T E T E A Testing and Simulating the Effect on Fracturing of Port Parameters of a Cemented Sliding Sleeve Yang Huanqiang Wang Ruihe Zhou Weidong Li Luopeng Gui Jie School of Petroleum Eng inee r ing China Univ e rs ity of Petrole um H uadong Qing dao S han dong China Oil and Gas Technology Research I ns titute PetroChina Changq ing Oilf ield Com p any X ian S haanx i China Abstract In order to understand the effect of port parameters on fracture initiation pressure and fracture ge ometry a fracturing test w ith mm cemented sliding sleeve that has different types of ports w as conducted by theoretical and experimental studies A ground test of cemented sliding sleeve fracturing w as carried out by use of fullsize hydraulic fracturing simulation system and the test result has been analyzed by using a finite element nu merical simulation FEM T he results show that fracture initiation pressure difference betw een slot type port and w ingtype port is smaller T he fracture initiation pressure rises w ith increase of the port angle T he length and quantity of the ports have a large effect on the fracture initiation pressure and the fracture initiation pressure de creases w ith increase of the port quantity and tube length A test sample w ith a w ing type port and slottype port can form a single symmetric crack after fracturing and the test sample of port w ith an angle can form a more com ple
