ANALYSIS THE THEORY AND APPLICATl0N 0F RETAILERS WIT‘H THE STRATEGY OFSUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT ABSTRACT The dissertation builds up a theoretical model of Retailers’Supply Chain Management (SCM)on the basis of the research of the evolution of SCM theory and the status quo of the application in the field of retailing in the world.When apply the SCM theory,the model says, retailers should center the information technology and whole—in—one oriented sense,integrate three parts(Vender Management Inside Management and Customer Management)by four function flows,which are goods flow,trade flow,funds flow and information flow.Thus retailers can lead the whole Supply Chain and reduce its cost,better its service and make it more competitive. Firstly,the dissertation discusses the possibility and necessity for retailers to manage SC. Secondly,it points out retailers manage SC to supply best service with lowest cost of the whole SC.Then the dissertation discusses the two cores,which are information technology and whole.in—one oriented sense.Each of them is promoted by the other.while the former is determined by the latter.When discussing the three main contents of SCM,the dissertation analyses how the tbur functional flows works,In the Vender Management,retailers should take the form of managing style and the one of both managing and ownership style.Besides, the dissertation also analyses the Retailers’Private Brand Strategy in the sense of SCM instead of Brand Strategy.Strategic Logistic Model and Customer Information Flow Management Model are discussed in the part of Inside Management and Customer Management.7lhe three main contents are categorized only in turn of process,but still whole in one systematically.Three ofthem could be connecter by the information technology and the four functional flows.However,retailers still need to connect the three contents by effective organizational system and process operation.The organizational system realizes the theoretical system,but they
