Abstract Reading is one of the important means of human’S getting knowledge,and mathematics learning also cannot do without reading,and mathematics reading 1s a basic skill in mathematics learning.Ordinary High School Mathematics CurriculUln Stalldard(Experiment)”pointed out senior high school mathematics c唧culum should promote learning mathematics modes such as self exploration,pracnce, cooperation and exchange,reading and self-study and SO on·Mathematics reading nas been paid more aIld more attention as a way of learning mathematlcs, and mathematics reading has a great effect on learning mathematics·Mathematlcs化ading ability also emerges as the times require as a kind of mathematical ability. It uses the reference method to define mathematics reading and mathematlcs reading ability.It uses method of questionnaire investigation to analyse on the Present situation of senior high school students in mathematics reading and mathematlcs reading ability.The questionnaires are”The Questionnaire of Mathematics Reading of Senior High School Students”and”The Questionnaire of Mathematics Reading Ability of Senior High School Students”.The main research contents and concluslons are as follows. 1 It does a survey on mathematics reading situation of senior high school students舶m the four dimensions:the understanding of mathematlcal reading, readinghabits,reading strategies and reading metacognition.The results show that,m the understanding of the mathematics reading,some students think that reading IS the language discipline,and that the mathematics reading has less effect on mathematics le锄ing;In their reading habits,more than half of the high school students seldom read textbooks before class or after class.In reading strategy,nearly half of the high school students seldom take notes and crossed in the key in mathematiCS reading·For the seIf questioning in reading mathematics,most of the high school students dont haye seIf questioning in mathematics reading.
