After 16 weeks the rats had their kidneys removed to be measured angiotensin (Ang ), interleukin 6 (IL 6 and interleukin 1 (IL 1.Pathologic measurement was detected. Results: In comparison with the group of hypertensive nephropathy, the urinary of 24 hours protein and microalbunminuria were much lower in the group of fluvastatin (P lt;0.01), and the level of Ang , IL 6 and IL 1 were much lower, too. Conclusion: Fluvastatnin prevents or retards hypertension induced renal nephropathy via inhibition of renal nephropathy fibrosis and proteinuria, the inflammation might be one of the mechanisms.
