IFN irradiation on the rabbit after pelvic surgery in rectal tissue content of TGF1mRNA

PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 16 IFN irradiation on the rabbit after pelvic surgery in rectal tissue content of TGF1mRNA Of: Zhang Li, Wang Hua, Wang Juan, Yang Yun I, Liu Zi [Abstract] Objective To investigate the IFN irradiation on rabbit after pelvic surgery in the pathological changes of the rectum and transforming growth factor 1 (TGF 1) content. Methods 54 female New Zealand rabbits were randomly divided into the irradiation group, drug intervention group and control group, the day after irradiation, pelvic surgery began to be given every 4 d drug intervention group were injected IFN 2.5 104u / (kg f), a total of 5 times; in the weeks after irradiation, 4,8,12,16,20 each group were sacrificed 5 rabbits, control group completed the experiment were killed when the uniform, rectal tissues were observed under light microscope for pathological changes detected by in situ hybridization the expression of TGF 1mRNA. Results observed under light microscope and the pathological changes of the rectum TGF 1mRNA content in situ hybridization, comparative drug intervention group and irradiation group and control group were significantly different between (P lt;0.05). Conclusion IFN can inhibit the expression of TGF 1mRNA, reduce inflammation in early and late radiation radiation fibrosis. Methods Fifty four big female New Zealand albino rabbits were randomly allocated into simple irradiation group, IFN treatment group and blank control group. IFN (2.5 104u/kg f) was injected into IFN treatment group every four days after IORT for five times. Five rabbits were randomly sacrificed at 4 , 8 12, 16 and 20 weeks after IORT except those in blank
