Methods: Isolation of a pair of two-dimensional electrophoresis from the same parents, with different liver metastatic potential of human pancreatic cancer cell line L3.6 pl and Colo 357 of the secreted proteins, image analysis software selected protein spots differentially expressed between the two, using matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization time of flight mass spectrometry (MALDI TOF MS) on the part of different protein points were identified. Results: A L3.6 pl and Colo 357 cells dimensional electrophoresis profiles of proteins, to identify differentially expressed protein spots 20, mass spectrometry identified five protein spots, of which cathepsin D precursor, epidermal liver fatty acid binding protein in the high potential of cell lines L3.6 pl expression levels higher than the low metastatic potential cell lines Colo 357, and retinal dehydrogenase 1, nucleoside diphosphate kinase B, A1 protein in the membrane even L3.6 pl cells, the expression level lower than the Colo 357 cell line.
