Abstract: School-based curriculum development activities are based on school-based curriculum design by the start, curriculum testing, curriculum evaluation, curriculum management, consisting of a systems engineering major events. School-based curriculum development must adhere to the normative, pay attention to flexibility, emphasizing innovation. In order to solve the contradiction between school-based curriculum development, may take the necessary measures, namely: an organized way to carry out research-based curriculum subject tests; formulate and implement relevant policies, laws and regulations; the establishment of a kind of support and supervision of curriculum development intermediaries.

School-based curriculum was first seen in Britain and other countries, more than 20 years of history. “School-based curriculum” is a foreign language, but in the 20th century, 90 years in China, many primary and secondary school curriculum development of activities is actually a prelude to school-based curriculum development.
