 PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 42 Task-based Language Teaching in the Junior English Teaching 1, of the problem Task-based teaching approach is the 20th century, 80 years researchers have made a foreign language teaching has an important influence in language teaching. This model is thinking of teaching as a communicative development patterns, it is the basic concept of language use into a practical significance of the classroom teaching. Language learning “task” refers to the targeted communication activities. Teachers focus on a particular communicative purpose and language projects, design operable, task-oriented teaching and learning activities, students through language activities, task, to learn the language and master the language, purpose, or simply the “language of things” . To verify the task-based language teaching approach in the rural areas the feasibility of junior high school, we are in September 2003 set up a “task-based teaching model of junior high school English experimental study,” Task Force, and in November the same year, a base run by the province approved as a provincial-level topics topics. The task-based teaching model of the theory applied to the junior high school English teaching, we hope that through the study of this topic, and promote rural secondary school English teaching reform, a large area to improve the quality of teaching for the English teaching in the new vigor and vitality. 2, experimental design 1. Experiment objectives: A. Exploration Junior English task-based teaching the basic model; B. Verify through the task-based teaching, foreign language for beginners of English level (listening, speaking, reading and writing ability) increased faster than the traditional teaching methods; C. through research, and promote the reform of English teaching in rural areas, a large area to improve the quality of teaching, improve teaching quality and teacher’s level of scientific research.
