On the Normal University of Physical Education [Abstract] Normal University students are the future of the people’s teachers, physical education should give full play to their capabilities, to enhance students understanding of physical fitness and help them to establish ‘health first’ thinking, to develop their awareness of life-long fitness, which will benefit their healthy growth and future health of the teaching and life. [Keywords:] Physical Education Teachers Colleges A principle of ‘health first’ is the guiding ideology and learned the painful lessons of premature death The average life expectancy of intellectuals in China is only 58 years old, below the national average life expectancy of 10 years of age, their physical health is worrying. It stands to reason the 20 years of reform and opening up the party and the loving care of all levels of government, intellectuals, living environment, working conditions and physical treatment to have undergone a significant degree of improvement and increase their life expectancy should be higher than China’s average life expectancy in , but the reality is the opposite. I believe that the most important reason is that the intelligentsia is not in widespread scientific and reasonable arrangement and coordination of work, life and physical fitness relationship. Most of them do not attach importance to physical exercise, lack of physical fitness awareness and sports knowledge, do not know the ways and means of physical fitness, which led to the untimely death of the negative phenomena (eg, Zhang Hou, Zhong Jia-Qing, Jiang Zhuying 50 years of excellence, etc. less than a death), and to be getting worse, which caused great shock the whole society and concern. They should give full play to their wisdom, in order to contribute to construction of the motherland in this age period because of health reasons, passed away prematurely, without exception, people feel deeply sorry and greatly regret, but also to society as a whole
