Edu ation in ea h era has its ow n pursuit of happiness. Contemporary edu ation also has its ow n on ept of happiness. From the riti al perspe tive, it s pursuing a differ ent kind of happiness, w hi h an be explained to be tomorrow happiness, external happiness and ompetitive happiness. It is the kind of happiness that has reated modern people, espe ially has aused many kinds of misfortune of the edu ated, su h as destroyed todays life, the hase of inter- ests, indulging in material pleasures, and being ontrolled by su essful tyranny. So dur- ing the study of the relation betw een edu ation and happiness, we shouldnt alw ays demon- strate the happiness fun tion of edu ation from the perspe tive of w hat-it-should-be, but also look at the real ontemporary edu ation from the aspe t of happiness philosophy.
