I still remember when you got the character Wolverine, the casting of your role made headlines everywhere. 　　Hugh Jackman: I know, exactly: “Who’s Hugh” Who is this guy”” 　　Q: So who is Hugh” 　　HJ: He’s just a guy from Australia. I was born in Sydney, spent a few years in Perth, went to Melbourne, met the love of my life and my first job, actually; bit of a fairytale start. And I’ve been working as an actor for several years now. I trained for four years and I’ve done a little bit of everything “done a little bit of singing, done some musicals. I’ve dressed up in a koala[考拉] suit in my day. I’ve been a clown[小丑] at kid’s parties. Then I played a super hero. 　　 　　Q: Flushed Away is your first attempt in animation dubbing[配音]. How do you feel about it” 　　HJ: Well, I think it just took me three or four sessions before we really found the character. The character did change. He was more upper class and a little snobby[势利的], I suppose. I don’t know. It just took me a little while. 　　When you think about it, it’s a character like any other. From the first second, you’re working and you’re recording. I think the guys there were just really helpful in finding who this character was and for me to really make it my own. It’s fair to say it was challenging “more challenging than I expected. 　　Sometimes I remember getting notes like “We need to see more of this emotion coming through.”And I was like, “Wow, I thought I was doing that!”But you get used to film where you have so much more available to you to convey[传达] thoughts and emotions. So I did find it challenging but I loved it and I remember laughing a lot. 　　In terms of the look of the character, my son is almost seven and he knows exactly what animation is “he knows what live action drama is and all that sort of thing.
