defined the core concept of teachers professional skill and school-based strategies, and made the theoretical overview from the angle of teachers’ professionalization and professional development. Then it further expounded the relationship between the development of teachers professional skills and the school. It provided theoretical foundation for school-based strategies to enhance teachers professional skills. Chapter three analyzed status quo and probed the problems of teachers professional skill development. According to the statistical result of the data provided by the questionnaire, we found out the problems and obstacles of teachers professional skills, which are reflected in three respects: the problems of teachers professional skills; the problems of the subject awareness, and the problems of various external objective factors, such as the problems of skills training measures, encourage and valuation. Chapter four is the reason analysis part. It analyzed the reasons in-depth from four aspects: teachers themselves; teaching-research group; school administrator and school system in management. Chapter five presented several concrete school-based strategies to enhance teachers professio nal skills fro m four aspects: school based training, school-based teach-researching, school-based evaluation and school based management .
